What got you into metal work?
I always loved little daggers and stuff and to look at them at museums. Many years ago I had a really hard time opening my mail, like, I thought letters nowadays are never good news, always bills or something bad. I wanted letters to be romantic, how I imagined them to be before. I felt like the letters were giving me paper cuts with their reality, with their mundanity. But then I found this beautiful letter opener in an antique shop, it had two turtle doves at the top kissing, shaping a heart, and it was very long and silvery sharp. And then it was easier opening my mail (and paying my bills). The beauty of this object helped me survive, in a sense. And that’s kind of what I’m trying to recreate I guess.
Also, like 3 years ago I had completed a masters degree in something entirely different and I was doing my internship in a institute of foreign policies and felt it wasn’t for me and then I decided I wanted to try doing something working with my hands, to get something tangible to hold on to cause I had never done that before. and then I thought of metal work because I love fire and working with fire intrigued me, and I had heard of this preparatory art school some friends of mine had gone to.

And every night I braid it with some oil in the ends, right now argan sometimes almond!

Not many, I actually never had it but was looking at it all the time when I was a teenager and it was that era of tumblr-porn omg do u remember … like it would be a black and white grainy pic of someone sucking dick and then it would be pro-ana stuff… those were the days…

Honestly I have no clue anymore!I use to ship Hachi with Nobuo or nana O but after reading the manga my mind has changed…how about you?
I think if with anyone then with Nobu but maybe none of her romances are ”real” and it makes me sad 🙁 she is all over the place which is funny in the beginning and then also sad.. but she also talks about it in a sad way in the very beginning when talking about how she fell in love with her teacher

Yes I watched Paradise Kiss but didn’t enjoy it as much!! It kind of made less sense to me and felt more just aesthetic, I didn’t really feel for any character as much as in Nana. Did you see it?
SAME after rewatching I can’t really stand her friends either like damn can’t even stick up for your girl..after she was cheated on???I get that she was friends with both but idk rubbed me the wrong way not the biggest fan of reira or takumi honestly very complex characters but so many flaws

I actually did see parakiss yes I really only watched it because Tommy February 6 sung the opening lolll it wasn’t bad again the manga i prefer 😅.

How do you make life feel special ?
I mean kliché answer but by noticing the beauty in little things, an action or a feeling can be beautiful, the feelings we have to one another as love, friendship, sorrow. trying to be present in all of it..
Also by connecting to nature and its cycles, that mirrors the cycles of human life and death. Nature is God and God is nature, so being close to nature is being close to god.
Also by keeping a sense of mystery and wonder about the universe and things I don’t understand! By believing there is something else, something more

My fav song is probably Wild is the wind by Nina Simone, she is my fav artist. But also Lana del Rey I think she is the Nina Simone of our time haha, and Lou Reed

Just micellar water and la Roche posay stuff with sun screen, in the evening sometimes retinol. I dont wear makeup most days but when I do it’s usually some cream blush or coloured lip balm with some kohl eye pencil, I like the eye crayons from byredo!

idk… it has never really occurred to me to get a tattoo even tho i sometimes really like how they look on others. i feel like on me, it would be odd. same with piercings, even tho i think bellybutton piercings or like nipple piercings are cool it just feels like it would be strange on me, it would be like piercing a forest animal or something hahah
